Ben Affleck Dunkin' Super Bowl Commercial Finishes 2nd In Poll Behind Ad Reuniting Castmates

The lead-up to the Super Bowl is two weeks of speculation over what team will take home the Lombardi trophy, but the discussion over which company will have the most viral ad is its own cottage industry.

And with the average 30-second spot selling for $7 million, the stakes can be just as high for some companies as for the teams taking up the time between ads. To find out which commercials were the most popular, USA Today polled more than 160,000 readers to find out their favorite.

Despite Dunkin shelling out a fortune for its star-studded ad featuring Ben Affleck, his wife Jennifer Lopez, best friend Matt Damon, and Boston sports legend Tom Brady, among others, it was outvoted by a spot that reunited two A-list actors.

So, what commercial took the top spot? That belongs to Arnold Schwarzenegger's State Farm commercial that featured his "Twins" co-star Danny Devito playing the "backstabbaaa."

Dunkin's ad came in second with Kia's "Perfect 10," Uber Eats' commercial featuring Jennifer Aniston and "Friends" castmate David Schwimmer, and the NFL's "Born to Play" rounding out the top five.
